Mission:

To bring together researchers, clinicians, students, residents, regional and international experts in a convivial atmosphere in order to exchange the latest news pertaining to their professional activities.

Description:

The program consists of lectures and symposia, presentations and discussions of clinical cases, clinical research and fundamental rheumatology.

Objectives:

The objectives of the Laurentian Conference of Rheumatology change each year, allowing speakers to present information which is relevant today. At the end of the conference, the general objectives include improving the participants’ ability to:

• Identify, assess and treat rheumatic diseases.
• Understand the process of clinical research studies and interpret their results.
• Understand the nature and results of their peers’ research.

The conference is also an opportunity to meet and interact with colleagues and to honor some who have had a particular impact on the local and international rheumatology community.
